Natural Place at Kompung Pluk

Natural  Place at Kompung Pluk .

Siem Reap: Kompong Phluk Natural Village is located on the Tonle Sap Lake, Kompong Phluk village is situated in a flooded area of Tonle Sap Lake in Siem Reap province. Kompong Phluk consists of three villages combined, located within the Tonle Sap Lake, approximately 30 km from Siem Reap province in Cambodia. It is surrounded by flooded mangrove forests, which serve as a habitat for many types of wildlife. The village showcases its beautiful scenery at the end of the rainy season. Floods from the Mekong River cause the water level of Tonle Sap Lake to rise, inundating the village and its forests.

During the rainy season, the tall stilt houses in the village appear to be floating on the water. The lush blue water and the flooded forest create an attractive and unique landscape. Traveling through the village relies on small boats to get from one house to another.

Most villagers here are engaged in fishing, while some residents participate in providing tourism services. National and international tourists are surprised and delighted by this beautiful scenery. They can take small boats to visit the flooded forests and capture memorable photos.

Kompong Phluk village during the rainy season not only displays magnificent natural beauty but also demonstrates the community's clever adaptation to natural changes.
